Skiing

The holiday region Hippach is the first spot where you can enter the new ski area Ski-Zillertal3000. With the new cable car 150er-Tux and the 6 person chair lift "Wanglspitz" you can reach the ski areas of Hippach, Mayrhofen, Finkenberg und Tux with only one ski pass. This ski pass gives you entrance to 45 lifts and an enormous amount of ski pleasure! "Freaks" and families will find that the 143km Piste in all diffuculty levels are very special. Sunny family downhills, challenging Buckelpistes, wide carving downhills, a permanent race course with time keeping and the largest Funpark im Zillertal are only a few highlights.
Snow guaranteed from December until April while 78 KM of all pistes is covered with artificial snow if necessary. To wam up and recover 27 resaturants are available and those who have enjoyed live our Après-Ski will understand why this has made the Zillertal world famous
On the other side of the valley, above Ramsau the ski area Ramsau/Gerlosstein is situates and at 3km distance is the valleystation of "Zillertal Arena".

Snowboard

At the Snowboardschool in Hippach excellent teachers are available which will help you learn this beautiful sport. Also people with experience will enjoy the lessons of the the skilled teachers.

No equipment: No problem, you can rent everything you want at the skischool!
The ski-area Hippach/Mayrhofen has a special piste for snowboarders. With appropriate music over the loudspeakers it offers the real snowboarder even more fun!

In between the area Gerlos and Königsleiten "Boarders Town Gerlos" is situated, a special Snowboardpark with Funpark, Halfpipe and Boardercross.

Cross-Country

Cross-country skiing over prepared trails in untouched surroundings....

As soon as there is enough snow the trails are prepared. If the "snowking" decides to have a winter with not so much snow, you can always take the car and drive to Tux. The Tuxer
Tal is at a higher altitude than the direct surroundings of Hippach. Thus, cross-country skiing the way is has to be and also enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Gerlosplatte, approx. at 1500 m can be reached easily by car. Also there are beautiful prepared trails.

You can rent cross-country equipment in Hippach.

Toboganning

The Tobogan course at Hainzenberg is 7 km long. By car you reach Hainzenberg in 10 minutes. There a cable-car will bring you to the start of the course. In the winter this steep and illuminated course is open every evening. In Juns on the Grunalm there is also a beautiful tobogan course, which also open every evening. You can reach the Grunalm with a cab or walking.
